They will perform again at the Lisle Library on Thursday, April 5 at 7 p.m.

Registration is now open for all programs, including the much-anticipated author event, A Visit With Paula McLain which you can register for online or by calling your home library. To see other events at all of the participating libraries please visit the calendar.

The Big Read 2011 featured Dave Eggers’ Zeitoun. Ten local libraries hosted Zeitoun-related programming that highlighted New Orleans culture, food, and music, disaster preparedness, and political injustice around the world. Thank you for participating in these programs and discussing Zeitoun with us!

We’d also like to thank Anderson’s Bookshop, Barbara’s Bookstore, Frugal Muse, and the Tivoli Theatre for helping The Big Read remain a successful annual event.  We appreciate your continued support of our libraries!
